Jazlynn Hall

Jazlynn is a forest, landscape, and disturbance ecologist. She is a CIRES Fellow and Assistant Professor in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department at the University of Colorado Boulder. From tropical to boreal systems, her work links field, geospatial, statistical, and machine learning approaches to evaluate resilience and disturbance across forests, watersheds, and ecosystems.

As part of WFFRC, Jazlynn is working on multiple collaborative projects, including monitoring forest carbon pools, examining the fire-water nexus, and studying post-disturbance regeneration and community dynamics. She is also leading efforts to assess landscape readiness for beneficial wildfire - part of the larger WFFRC working group on beneficial wildfire.
